Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This policy describes how cancellations and refunds are handled for paid subscriptions to Ceymox Sentinel. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the terms below.

2. Free Trial

All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. If you choose not to continue after the trial, your account automatically reverts to the Free plan — you will not be charged.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account's Settings → Subscription page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain full access to paid features until the period ends.

We do not offer pro-rated refunds for unused time within a billing period unless required by applicable law.

4. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. You may be eligible for a refund in the following circumstances:

  • Service outage or unavailability: If Ceymox Sentinel experiences a verified outage exceeding 72 consecutive hours during your paid billing period, you may request a pro-rated credit for the affected days.
  • Duplicate charge: If you were billed more than once for the same period due to a technical error, we will refund the duplicate charge promptly.
  • Billing error: If you were charged an incorrect amount due to a pricing error on our part, we will refund the difference.

5. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:

  • You forgot to cancel before the renewal date
  • You no longer use the Service or have changed platforms
  • The refund request is submitted more than 7 days after the charge date
  • Partial periods after downgrading to a lower plan
  • Annual plans (except within the first 7 days of the initial purchase)

6. Annual Plans – 7-Day Refund Window

If you purchase an annual plan and change your mind within 7 days of the initial purchase (not renewal), you may request a full refund. Renewals of annual plans are non-refundable.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email billing@ceymox.com with:

  • Your registered email address
  • The date and amount of the charge
  • The reason for your refund request

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and will be returned to your original payment method.

8. Plan Downgrades

You may downgrade your plan at any time. The downgrade takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle; no refund is issued for the difference in price during the current cycle. Your access level will adjust accordingly at the next renewal.

9. Account Termination by Ceymox

If we terminate your account for a violation of our Terms & Conditions, no refund will be issued for any remaining period.

If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will provide at least 30 days' notice and issue pro-rated refunds for any unused prepaid periods.
